“After 8 months of extensive renovations inside the house it was time to essentially redo the entire 38 year old garden on our ¼ acre property. While the yard had initially been well tended, it suffered neglect after 15 years of renters. The scope of work involved machine excavating, the removal of all old shrubs and trees; removal of old concrete pathways: importing 30m2 of good soil: locating and planting +60 mature shrubs and trees, new high quality concrete paths and entrance ways, and placing large decorative flagstone. In the process one learns the different skills involved. There is design: hardscape, softscape, and special trades such as quality concrete finishes. Dan reached out to his industry contacts for design and concrete work and he and his team did and coordinated all the other work. Dan listened carefully to what we wanted and provided detailed quotations before each step of the work- there were three major sessions with perhaps five more short work sessions to follow up details. The final result has well exceeded expectations and is very much admired in our community where people have appreciated that 1980 vintage homes are not knocked down to be replaced by tasteless “boxes”. And it was pleasure to work with Dan and his team. Reliable guys and they left the worksite clean every time.”

“Daniel was initially hired to solve a drainage problem on a paved pathway where rainfall was collecting. He did a very good job with this so I invited him back to level the paving stones on my patio, which had not been laid properly and were very uneven. This project involved removing all the pavers and laying a thick layer of sand to provide stabilization. This was completed with care and thoroughness. I was most impressed by Dan's knowledge, honesty and professionalism. He does not cut corners, yet at the same time, his pricing is very reasonable.
